Charles and Gordon have been e-mailing album reviews to each other for years.
Musichord (Music that struck a chord with Charles and Gord) is our effort to try to let you in on the stuff we’re listening to – what we love, and what we’re still going to have to listen to a few more times before we can make up our mind.
As a general rule, we won’t review things that we don’t like. There’s always somebody who loves every band (even if they are terrible), and if you like to read whiny stories about all the things that people hate, well, there’s this thing called “The Internet” that seems to have that niche covered. So if it makes it to the site, we reckon it’s worth a listen.
Thanks heaps for stopping by!
You can send us mail at gordon@musichord.com and charles@musichord.com, if you’d like.
Or even if you don’t like

This is great. i’ve certainly missed those days back in Reston with all the music buzz that was always in the air. Love the layout and graphics. Myself, my live show attendance has dropped over the last 18 months or so, since I last moved. I previously lived right next to a venue like Jammin Java, called The Cat’s Cradle, so I caught a lot of good shows with bands like The Toadies, Pepper, & Josh Ritter. If you were ever a fan of The Toadies, I wonder how you like their comeback album No Deliverance. And, have either of you seen Avenged Sevenfold in concert? I think I need to go…
